What a title! Just speaking it out brings healing to me. This world has such a power to burn us and leave us as ashes. We’re just left there, hopeless, and we don’t know if we will ever be fruitful ground again. We are trashed and tired and done with everything and we just fall deeper and deeper into negative thinking! We think we are just ash. We are just dirt. Who could ever love us? Who could ever think that we are beautiful? Who could ever appreciate our advice? What do we have to say? All those questions go through our mind. And we feel like we get no answers. Or at least not the ones we want to hear. We try to seek those answers everywhere but most of the times we forget to ask THE ONE who has all those answers. GOD!! We are ashes, because we failed, we made bad decisions, we gave ourselves away, we cursed ourselves, we listened to the world and believed what it told us about beauty. We got stuck in that mindset. Then finally we get to the point where we are so tired of all of those things that we do one of two things, we either give up, or we finally make the right decisions and turn to God and ask Him for help.
Wow. Do you know what God can do? He makes beauty out of ashes. He loves us. He always will. He never gave up on us and He will never give up on us. The reason I am writing this Blog is because I believe that God can heal us with His mighty power. He did it with me. I am on a beautiful journey with God and He has shown me and is showing me, what it means to get free of the worldly mindset of beauty, and rest in His truth. Believe me, it is freeing. Do you want to be FREE?? I pray this blog is an encouragement to you, that no matter where you are and what you are feeling, that you know your God is bigger. May His loving-kindness set you free.
Oh, and if no one has told you today, I want you to know that you look really beautiful. I pray you begin to see that in yourself.
